Early spring is one of my favourite times of the year here in Nord Pas De Calais. The winter weather in Northern France can be cold, very changeable and seems to have a life of its own. However, it has a natural beauty and tranquillity which makes up for all that once the days get longer and spring arrives. Spring in France – Coming Soon!

Amongst all the rain and gales we are having at the moment in the Nord Pas de Calais –  yesterday was a lovely day, still, with clear blue skies and a hint of warmth in the sun. I couldn’t resist spending a couple of hours in the garden. I didn’t do very much, but did have a good think about my plans to enlarge the veggie patch as spring will be arriving in Northern France before we know it. Most Welcoming

We stayed at this charming B and B in Nord Pas De Calais on our way back to the UK from Southern France, it was very comfortable, clean and  Bron the host was most welcoming.
